We provide a service, specifically designed for photographers, that allows them to easily, quickly and at a low cost have their own website to display, share and sell their photos. No technical skills such as HTML, CSS, PHP or SQL are needed and the service is hosted by us, taking out all the complications and hassle of setting up a website. Every aspect of the website can be controlled through an easy-to-use control panel. The only software you need to setup your website will be the web browser you are viewing this page in right now.

Most people have their website running within five minutes of signing up for the free trial.

Why shouldn't I just build my own website? [Back to top]
For some people, building their website themselves is the best solution as they can design it just how they want it. However, designing and building websites to a professional standard, is a very complicated process. Photium is designed for photographers who want to concentrate on their photography rather than learning all the skills that a good web designer needs.

What support will you offer? [Back to top]
We offer 7-day a week e-mail support and we aim to reply to all support queries within six hours. We're rightly proud of the standard of support we offer and it's one of the key strengths of the Photium service. Of course, we don't expect you to take our word for it! Can visitors leave comments on my photos? [Back to top]
Yes, there is an option you can turn on to allow this. You can also choose whether their comments are shown, or whether you want to view and approve them before they are shown.

Can I view traffic statistics of my website? [Back to top]
Yes, there are statistics on which of your photos are getting the most views and how many visitors your site has had. You can reset these whenever you like.

Can I add a logo or graphic to my website? [Back to top]
You can add a logo to the top of your site and choose the alignment of it.

Can I change the colour scheme of my website? [Back to top]
There are many different colour combinations you can create by altering the colours of various sections of your website. This is done easily through a point and click interface.

Can I sell my photos? [Back to top]
Yes, you can even accept credit card payments for them. We let you decide which print service you want to use, or you can even print and post them to your customers yourself.

Will you take any commission? [Back to top]
No, we don't take any commission on sales of your photos.

Will more features be added? [Back to top]
Yes, we always listen to customer feedback and try and incorporate new features as our customers request them. There is no additional cost for new features and all customers will receive them.

Can I protect my photos from image thieves? [Back to top]
Ultimately, there is no 100% protection method for photos on the web. However, we have added features to Photium websites, that help make your photos safer. For more information, please see the Image protection setting in the Gallery settings area of your Photium website control panel.

I already have a domain name, can I use it? [Back to top]
Yes, you can probably use your domain name and we're happy to help with setting it up to work with our service.

I am not from the UK will this be a problem? [Back to top]
No, our system is configured for all the major currencies, so you can sell your photos online with no trouble.

What about the reliability of this service? [Back to top]
We take the uptime of our websites very seriously and have an excellent track-record. Regular backups are performed and we have additional off-site backups as well.

Our hosting company has a very high quality network and we never over-load our servers, which means your website will always load quickly.
