  • More ways to customise gallery pages - Add image and HTML blocks to gallery and photo pages, and arrange your content in columns. Open Page layout (expert) on a gallery folder or photo, then choose Add block. (Advanced package subscribers only)

21 October 2026

  • Faster-loading websites - We've reduced how much your website needs to download and helped key images start loading sooner, so visitors can see your pages more quickly. No action is needed; these improvements apply automatically.
  • See which pages hold visitors' attention - Compare engagement across your pages and devices, and see which pages visitors reach from other websites. Open Analytics to browse all pages with recorded views, filter by web address and sort the results. The reports appear automatically; no setup is needed.

19 October 2026

  • Give customers the right details after purchase - Add care instructions, booking details or next steps specific to each shop item or variant. Under Sales → Shop Items, edit an item or variant and add a Confirmation message. It appears after confirmed online payment and in customer order confirmation emails, when enabled. (Light, Standard and Advanced package subscribers only)
  • Match your website colours to your logo - Choose colours from a logo image, then try matching shades and preview them on your pages before saving. Open Change design → Colours → Use colours from a logo. You can adjust the suggestions and compare light and dark appearances.

16 October 2026

  • Make gallery pages work for your clients - Add introductions, enquiry forms, links, client testimonials, videos, questions and answers, and limited offers to gallery and photo pages. Arrange the content around your photographs, with large opening photos also available on gallery folder pages. Open a gallery folder or photo in the page editor and choose Page layout (expert). Choose a layout for one gallery folder or photo, the photos in a folder, or all folder or photo pages using the site default. (Advanced package subscribers only)
  • Help customers browse a larger shop - Group products into categories and subcategories, such as Workshops → Beginners. Customers can browse a whole category or narrow their choice to a subcategory. Under Settings → Categories → Shop, select a category, open Details and choose its parent category. Your existing categories and links continue to work. (Light, Standard and Advanced package subscribers only)

14 October 2026

  • Give customers a closer look before they buy - Customers can browse all photos on a shop item page and enlarge photos to see more detail, including from quick view. Add and arrange your photos under Sales → Shop Items; existing item photos appear automatically. (Light, Standard and Advanced package subscribers only)

11 October 2026

  • Tell a story with your photos - Present a carefully chosen sequence as a scrolling photo story. Each photo stays in view as the next slides over it, with your chosen titles and descriptions below. Open a gallery folder in Manage Gallery, then choose "Immersive Scroll" in its Appearance settings and save your changes.
  • Help visitors explore galleries within galleries - Present nested galleries as compact rows, gallery cards or layered album stacks, with gallery names visible in each style. In Settings → Gallery → Appearance, choose a "Subfolder presentation" and save your changes. Your choice applies to nested galleries across your website; the main gallery index and photo layouts are set separately.

9 October 2026

  • Preview your galleries while you edit - See your saved gallery layouts and photos in the page editor, then open the controls to manage photos, edit gallery details or change their appearance. In Manage Gallery, click "View gallery in editor" to get started.

8 October 2026

  • Save time with quick replies - Answer common questions with messages you have saved in advance. In Live Chat, click "Set up quick replies" to save up to 10, then click a reply to add it to your draft. You can also choose one as an automatic first reply after a visitor's first message in a new chat. (Advanced package subscribers only)
  • Choose which items are taxed - Sell taxable and tax-free items together, with tax applied only to the items you select. When tax collection is on, use "Charge tax on this item" on shop items, item options and gallery purchase options. Set your rate under Sales → Taxes.

6 October 2026

  • Edit a gallery folder and its photos together - Organise photos and adjust their gallery folder's settings in one place. Open the folder in Manage Gallery to upload and manage photos alongside its settings.
  • See view counts from your previous website - Where old figures are available, open Analytics and click "View old website statistics" to see retained gallery and photo view counts.
  • Choose the order visitors see - Show your chosen galleries first, or put recent comments at the top. In gallery blocks, use "Choose gallery folders" and drag them into order without changing their order elsewhere. In a Comments block, choose "Comment order" to show newest or oldest comments first.

5 October 2026

  • Put content side by side - Pair text with a photo or place related content in columns. In the page editor, choose "Add a block beside this" from a block's menu to build a column layout around your existing content.
  • Choose an image for shared page links - Give shared links a preview photo that represents the page. Set a featured image in Page settings; Photium uses it automatically when preparing the page for sharing.

4 October 2026

2 October 2026

  • Offer discounts on extra prints - Encourage larger print orders with offers such as paying for five prints and receiving additional prints free. In Sales → Promotions, turn on "Price each band separately" for a quantity offer. Each price band applies only to the prints within that band.
  • Make older page content easier to edit - Turn older HTML content into page blocks so you can edit its text and images with the usual controls. For an HTML block added directly to a page, open its settings and click "Convert to page blocks". This experimental tool lets you review suggestions before applying them and undo in one step.

25 September 2026

  • Review suspected spam and recover genuine messages - Check suspicious enquiries and restore genuine messages to your usual view. Website messages, comments, chats and favourites messages flagged as spam are held for review rather than discarded. Check the Spam view in the relevant admin screen; filtering happens automatically.
  • Ask search engines to leave a page out of results - Ask search engines to leave out pages you only want to share by direct link. In Page settings, turn on "Exclude from search engines" for a custom page or blog post. Anyone with the link can still view the page.

23 September 2026

  • Turn your notes and photos into a page draft - Get an editable starting page from a short description and up to 10 photos. Start from the dashboard, then edit the draft and use it as your homepage or add it to your menu. Replace any prices or reviews marked as samples. Setup tips help you choose what to do next; hide them when no longer needed.

20 September 2026

  • A new way to discourage photo copying - A moving blurred area discourages copying while letting visitors see each part of a photo as it moves. In Settings → Gallery → Protection, choose "Moving blur" for large photos. Available in beta, with an optional message and settings for individual gallery folders. It does not prevent all copying. (Light, Standard and Advanced package subscribers only)

15 September 2026

  • Bring your pages to life - Use "Animations" in theme settings to add gentle image movement, reveal headings as visitors scroll and introduce photos in small groups. Adjust the movement controls in individual blocks to suit each page.

4 September 2026

  • Give visitors a fresh way to explore your work - Use Chapters to introduce galleries with alternating cover photos and descriptions, or Offset to present photos or gallery covers in staggered columns. In Settings → Gallery → Gallery index, choose Chapters or Offset. To use Offset for photos inside galleries, choose it under Folders, then save your changes.

2 September 2026

Create the link under Settings → Website → Redirect links, then select it in Analytics to review its activity. Direct and external opens are counted separately from clicks attributed to your own pages.

17 August 2026

  • Include your sales tax in checkout - Show customers the tax due on their order and record it in order totals. Under Sales → Taxes, enter your tax name and rate, then choose whether your saved prices include tax or have tax added. Changing that choice keeps your saved prices unchanged and can change what customers pay, so check your prices before using it.

16 August 2026

  • Find out which websites send you visitors - See how visits from other websites change over time, alongside your enquiries and sales. Open Analytics, choose a period and review "External referrals over time" and "Enquiries and sales" to help assess your promotion activity.
